Commitment to Access & Affordability

Removing the barriers to outstanding care.

Costs and waiting lists should not stand in the way of a healthier, more stable future. We believe that every adult and child should be able to access mental health care in times of need.

At The Brookline Center, we are committed to sustaining a community where the well-being of every resident matters. We’re here for all who need us, providing outstanding, comprehensive care to those who seek our support. As a community mental health center, many of the services we provide are not offered by private practitioners, while other programs may be inaccessible to those with limited income.

The Center provides priority access to those who live, work, or attend school in Brookline, no matter the severity of the condition or ability to pay. With some services, we are able to serve residents of neighboring communities as well. We accept most forms of insurance. With the help of foundations and generous donors, The Brookline Center offers many services on a sliding scale or at no cost to Brookline residents. Our staff is always available to discuss fees, insurance, and financial assistance with clients any point during care.
